 — Certificate Management Information System (CMIS)

CMIS allows the FAA to ensure operational safety in the aircraft manufacturing environment and delegated facilities, providing the FAA with automation support for the evaluation and approval of the production activities of industry manufacturers/suppliers as well as for the management of these FAA certificate holders.  The users of the CMIS application include managers, inspectors, engineers, and evaluators from both manufacturing and engineering communities.
